The Challenge: Launch FungiRx, a pioneering psilocybin supplement brand, into a nascent and highly scrutinized market. The primary challenge was to overcome inherent stigma and build immediate trust with a cautious audience. The branding needed to balance scientific credibility with approachability, creating a shelf and digital presence that felt both timelessly authoritative and refreshingly modern.

My Role & Process: As the Lead Designer, I was tasked with architecting the brand's entire visual identity from the ground up. My strategy was to build trust through clarity and sophistication:

  • Building a Foundation of Trust: I conducted extensive market research to understand consumer apprehensions. This informed a design philosophy centered on transparency, science, and wellness, deliberately avoiding clichéd or counterculture aesthetics.

  • Crafting a Timeless-Modern Hybrid: I developed a cohesive visual system that merges classic, apothecary-inspired cues (signaling heritage and quality) with clean, modern minimalism (signaling innovation and clarity). This included a refined color palette, custom typography, and an ownable logo mark that feels both established and contemporary.

  • Designing for Multi-Channel Cohesion: I ensured the identity system was robust and scalable, providing art direction for everything from elegant primary packaging that stands out on physical shelves to digital assets (e-commerce site, social media) that convey credibility and ease online navigation.

The Result: The FungiRx brand launch established a powerful and trusted visual identity that effectively disrupted the category and resonated deeply with its target audience.
